GameCovered collects information you provide, including your name, email address, optional phone number and ZIP code, account roles, optional profile photo, profile details, self-reported credentials, availability, organization memberships, event information, messages, ratings, assignments, external payment preference and username or link, payment-status confirmations, and support communications. We may also collect device push-notification tokens and technical information needed to operate and secure the service.
We use information to create and secure accounts, coordinate games and officials, operate tournament and league tools, deliver messages and notifications, provide support, prevent misuse, maintain records, and improve GameCovered.
Relevant account, profile, assignment, and event information may be visible to Coaches / Assignors, officials, directors, accepted organization members, and other participants as needed to provide the service. Optional profile photos are visible to signed-in users. An official's external payment username or link is shared only when needed with the Coach / Assignor responsible for a completed assignment. Information intentionally published through a public event link can be viewed by anyone with that link. We may use service providers for hosting, email, notifications, analytics, app-store subscriptions, and support. We do not sell personal information.
GameCovered does not collect, hold, transfer, or process game-pay funds. If users choose Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, cash, or another external method, the payment occurs outside GameCovered and is governed by that provider's terms and privacy policy. GameCovered may record the selected method and whether the sender and recipient marked payment sent or received.
If you allow notifications, GameCovered may send assignment, invitation, message, schedule, rating, and operational updates. You can change notification preferences in Settings or in your device settings.
We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and protect users. We use reasonable safeguards, but no electronic system can guarantee absolute security.
You can delete your account from Settings in the GameCovered app. Personal account information is removed or anonymized and sign-in is disabled. Completed games, financial records, safety records, and organization history may be retained in anonymized form where reasonably necessary for legitimate business or legal purposes.
GameCovered is designed for adults coordinating sports activities. Children should not create accounts without authorization from a parent, guardian, or responsible organization.
You may update profile information and communication preferences in the app. You may also contact us to request access, correction, or assistance with your information.
